Ashghal announces three-month traffic shift on part of Al Corniche Street from Friday

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced that there will be three-month traffic shift on one part of Al Corniche Street in one direction to parallel road with same number of lanes from Friday. The diversion is in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic is to enable stormwater network construction works, within Doha Central Development & Beautification Project – Package 4.

The traffic diversion will be commencing from Al Diwan Interchange towards the intersection between Al Corniche Street and Hamad Al Kabeer Street. Dedicated left turn from Al Corniche Street to Jasim Bin Mohammed Street will be declined from two to one lane while keeping the two lanes open at Al Diwan Interchange traffic signal.
