Five-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Philippines
At least 16 people were killed and 21 others were injured today as a result of a traffic accident that occurred in the southern Turkish Gaziantep Province.
Governor of Gaziantep Daoud Gul said in a statement reported by the Anadolu News Agency (AA) that the victims included three people from firefighters four from the health staff, and two journalists, noting that the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment.
He explained that a passenger bus collided with rescue teams that were dealing with a car that slid down a slope in the area of Nazib on the tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep highway, and the bus also collided with a live broadcast vehicle of a media agency that was covering the car sliding accident.
