Hello Asia turns Lusail Boulevard into a Cultural Hub

Hello Asia at Lusail Boulevard

Lusail Boulevard has become a lively showcase of the vibrant colors, sounds, and flavors of Asia through the "Hello Asia" event, which has taken center stage. This initiative offers visitors an immersive experience into the rich cultural tapestry of the 24 nations participating in the AFC Asian Cup.

The event features daily parades of nations, captivating performances of folkloric dance and music, and displays highlighting the best of each country, including cuisine, instruments, and iconic places. "Hello Asia" serves as a gateway for attendees to explore and learn more about the diverse cultures and traditions of Asia.

One notable pavilion is Thailand's, where visitors can explore Thai architecture, traditional instruments, and the iconic Tuk Tuk or samlor—a motorized rickshaw with three wheels. The pavilion showcases traditional Thai instruments, provides insights into Thai rhythm and sound, and features video presentations highlighting fascinating places in Thailand. The Ambassador of Thailand to Qatar, H E Sira Swangsilpa, extended a warm invitation for everyone to visit and enjoy the intricate Thai patterns decorating the pavilion.

Indonesia's pavilion is another highlight, offering a hub for Garuda fans with parades, vibrant markets, ethnic cuisines, and colorful folklore performances. The Head of the Socio-Culture Division at the Embassy of Indonesia in Qatar, Ali Murtado, emphasized their commitment to presenting cultural performances across Qatar, showcasing Indonesia's tourism, culture, and creative economy.

The 1.3 km stretch of Country Zone at Lusail Boulevard features diverse nations, including Japan, Vietnam, Korea, India, China, Palestine, Qatar, UAE, Syria, and more. The boulevard provides a range of family-friendly activities, such as a dart zone, roaming shows, parades, dance and musical performances, stage acts, magic tricks, stilt walkers, face painting, and a virtual reality arcade.

The "Hello Asia" celebration is scheduled to run until February 10, excluding match days at Lusail Stadium, operating from 4 pm until 11 pm.
