'Women in Pink' Campaign to raise breast cancer awareness among people in Gulf and Qatar.

It has been said that Novartis, one of the most successful drug companies in the world, will soon start a marketing campaign called "Women in Pink." Because of this program, the breast cancer death rate will decrease in the Gulf region.

The campaign encourages women in the area to take charge of their health. The campaign is part of Novartis' ongoing efforts to raise awareness and provide solutions for the full range of breast cancer treatments. In partnership with the Emirates Oncology Society and the non-profit Friends of Cancer Patients, it will give women the power they need by giving them the information they need to make the best treatment decisions possible. " Among the countries in the region, Bahrain has the highest rate of breast cancer, followed by Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. In addition, according to the World Health Organization, breast cancer is the most common type in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. As President of the Emirates Oncology Society, Professor Humaid Al Shamsi stresses how important it is for everyone to work together to teach people how to prevent, find, diagnose, and treat breast cancer.

Compared to other developed countries, the number of women with breast cancer is low in the GCC. "The disease still affects a large number of people, especially women," says Dr. Sawsan Al Madhi, the director-general of Friends of Cancer Patients. "This is why we think there needs to be a significant change in how we deal with breast cancer in the Gulf region. We need to start with early screening and then work on improving and extending the lives of cancer patients. Through this campaign, we want to encourage people to take care of their health and the health of those around them. This has to be done before any patient can be helped.

It is thought that around a third of all cancers could be stopped with simple changes to lifestyle, genetic testing in high-risk groups, and vaccinations. The Women in Pink campaign wants to ensure that cancer is found early, that women get regular checkups, and that they get mammograms. This is because people with localized cancer diagnosed before having a much better chance of beating the disease.

A second goal of the campaign is to ensure that people with metastatic breast cancer can access new and better treatments. They must be able to recognize their symptoms and those of others.

As part of the new campaign, Novartis will work with a wide range of stakeholders and thought leaders to start conversations about preventing illness, getting help early, and managing care. These talks aim to improve patients' health and well-being and increase their expected lifespan.
