Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence has revealed the specifics of the 10th edition of Aspire Academy Global Summit 2024, which is slated to be held during Nov. 11-12, 2024, at Sealine area.

The announcement came in a press conference with the attendance of numerous Aspire officials and representatives of the partners, alongside local and international media. The 10th edition marks the Academy's celebration of the 20th anniversary since its founding.

The summit highlights two decades of Aspire Academy's commitment to excellence in sporting and football innovative evolutions, not only in Qatar but also across clubs, federations, and leagues from around the world, aimed at fostering communication and exchanging ideas on football development.

Addressing the press conference, Ali Salem Afifa, Deputy Director of Aspire Academy and chairperson of the Aspire Academy Global Summit 2024, said this year's edition will be extraordinary, held in a charming Qatari atmosphere and attended by international sports stars. He also pointed out that Qatar has achieved a new milestone in the world of football this year by crowning the Qatari national team with the AFC Asian Cup title for the second time in a row, a tournament Qatar hosted last February.

The academy boasts that the vast majority of Qatari players crowned with continental titles have graduated from Aspire Academy, underscoring the incredible efforts the academy has made in collaboration with its partners, Afifa said.

He added that the primary objective is to enhance international football, prompting the academy to establish the Aspire fellow community around the globe to share new expertise and innovations among its members.

Aspire Academy Global Summit Executive Director, Professor Valter Di Salvo, said that the academy is not just celebrating a global event, but organizing an extraordinary edition of an important event that has been globally recognized for a decade by the summits family, which has strengthened football performance and sports sciences this year through its collaboration.

This event is being superbly organized in the State of Qatar by inviting the members to experience the summit in stunning desert landscapes and Qatar's sandy beaches, in a place that reflects the beauty and traditions of this country, Prof. Di Salvo highlighted.

Director of Marketing and Communication at Aspire Academy and member of the organizing committee, Al Anoud Saeed Al Misnad, affirmed that the organizing committee is grateful to all partners and supporting curators of the summit, adding that she looks forward to forging further cooperation with all partners in the upcoming events.

With its global nature and connection to the football community, the summit represents an opportunity for all Aspire partners to broaden new horizons and showcase their trademarks to a wider audience around the globe, Al Misnad emphasized.

The summit agenda includes an esteemed group of distinguished guests who will share their expertise, led by former Aspire Academy coach Francesco Farioli. Additionally, the summit sessions will feature Italian basketball coach Sergio Scariolo, who led Spain to victory in the World Cup and four European Basketball Championships (EuroBasket).
