23 Ukrainian Drones Destroyed by Russia During Nighttime Assault

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that its air defense systems shot down 23 Ukrainian drones in the Kursk and Belgorod regions of Russia.

The Ministry said in a statement that the air defense systems on duty destroyed 23 Ukrainian drones, 19 of which were shot down over the Kursk region and four over the Belgorod region.

Since the beginning of the war three years ago, Russia and Ukraine have exchanged almost daily reports confirming that each side has repelled attacks from the other, without verifying these reports due to the circumstances of the war and the ongoing fighting
