2024 Qatar Touring Car Championship

Abdulla Al Khelaifi crowned as champion of the 2024 Qatar Touring Car Championship, after securing victory in the 5th and final round that took place at Lusail International Circuit over two days.

Al Khelaifi led overall standings with 107 points, 29 points-ahead of his closest competitor, Ali Emadadhi, who finished 2nd with 78 points, while Ahmed Alasiri came in 3rd with 72 points.

Ghanim Al Madheed secured 4th place with 64 points, Abdulaziz Al Sayed in 5th with 58 points, Omran Karama in 6th also with 58 points, Ibrahim Abdulghani finished in 7th place with 54 points, Ahmed Alabbasi ranked 8th with 46 points, Abdulaziz Al Jabri in 9th with 41 points, while Mansour Al Hajri concluded the top-10 with 38 points.

Al Khelaifi was named as the 2024 champion after winning the first race and finishing 2nd in the second race.

The first race saw Al Khelaifi come in 1st place with a record of 51.46.749 minutes, beating his closest competitor, Ahmed Alabbasi by 2.713 seconds, who finished 2nd with a time of 51.49.462 minutes, while Ali Emadadhi came in 3rd with a time of 51.49.981 minutes, followed by Ali Al Emadi in 4th place with a time of 51.50.893 minutes, and Abdulaziz Al Jabri in 5th with 52.01.962 minutes.

For their part, Ghanim Al Madheed finished the first race in 13th place, while Ahmed Alasiri withdrew from the competition due to significant car damage.

As for the second race, it saw Al Madheed lead in 1st place with 26.08.371 minutes, followed by Al Khelaifi, who was 1.295 seconds behind and who finished in 2nd place with 26.09.666 minutes, Ali Al Emadi in 3rd with 26.11.069 minutes, whereas Ali Emadadhi came in 4th with a time of 26.12.483 minutes, ahead of Abdulaziz Al Sayed in 5th place with a time of 26.14.177 minutes.
