Ashghal Announces Temporary Closure of Ahmed bin Jassim Street for Infrastructure Works
The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure of a section of Ahmed bin Jassim Street in both directions. The affected stretch extends from the roundabout at Al Shaheen Street to Saad Al Shaer Street.
The closure will begin on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 6:00 AM, and will remain in effect for approximately four months to allow for essential infrastructure development and road maintenance.
During this period, motorists are advised to use alternative routes, including Saad Al Shaer Street, Al Shaheen Street, and nearby parallel roads such as Muaither Asma Street and Muaither Legreta Street, to reach their destinations.
Ashghal urges all road users to follow the directional signs and thanks the public for their cooperation and understanding during the improvement works.
