Al Jazeera Condemns Israeli Raid and questions journalists' Safety in Ramallah Office
Al Jazeera Media Network strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces' raid on its Ramallah office in the occupied West Bank, affirming its commitment to reporting the truth with integrity.
In a Sunday statement, Al Jazeera held the Israeli occupation government accountable for the safety of its journalists, asserting that these repressive actions aim to prevent the world from seeing the reality in the occupied territories and the ongoing war on Gaza.
The Network reiterated its dedication to truthful reporting despite efforts to silence it, noting that the Israeli suppression of free press is an attempt to hide its actions in Gaza and the West Bank.
Al Jazeera also dismissed the Israeli occupation's baseless claims used to justify the illegal raids.
During the raid, Israeli forces shut down the Ramallah office for 45 days by military order, confiscated equipment and documents, barred staff from using their vehicles, and halted the channel’s broadcast.
