The Amiri Air Force and Al Zaeem Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Attiya Air Academy carried out a joint air show with the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) and the British Royal Air Force (RAF), in the West Bay and Doha Corniche area.
In a press statement on the sidelines of the air show, Director of the Directorate of Moral Guidance in the Armed Forces Brigadier General Mohammed Ali Al Hajri said that a number of Typhoon "Al Dhariyat" aircrafts of the Amiri Air Force participated in the air parade, together with the joint Qatar UK Typhoon Squadron (12 Squadron), which also participated with Typhoon aircraft, the British Royal Air Force's aerobatic team (Red Arrows), and the Royal Saudi Air Force's Saudi Falcons aerobatic team, in addition to the aerobatic team of the Al Zaeem Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Attiya Air Academy.
Brigadier General Mohammed Ali Al Hajri explained that one of the tasks of the joint Qatar UK Typhoon Squadron participating in the air show today, is to take part in securing the airspace during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Regarding the participation of the British Red Arrows and the Saudi Falcons in the air show, Director of the Directorate of Moral Guidance indicated that it is an expression of the strength of mutual relations between the Amiri Air Force, the Royal Saudi Air Force, and the British Royal Air Force, pointing out that the aircraft that participated in the parade presented an amazing air show that demonstrated the skill and strength of training of the participating pilots.
