Washington, August 27 (QNA) - The American company Anthropic announced the launch of a trial version of a new AI agent named Claude for Chrome, built on its renowned Claude models and currently available to a limited group of subscribers.
The company affirms that this step comes within the framework of a rapidly accelerating race among AI companies to develop smart browsers or integrations that offer a smoother experience.
Recently, the AI company Perplexity launched its own browser Comet, equipped with an agent that assists in task completion, while Open AI is preparing to launch an AI-powered browser with similar features, and Google has integrated its Gemini models into the Chrome browser over the past few months.
