Apple Allows Developers to Create New Apps Using AI

 Apple is preparing to announce a new step in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), allowing third-party developers to use its models in developing their applications, during its upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference on June 9.

The company is currently developing a new software toolkit that will allow external developers to build features based on the large language models used in the iPhone's development process, Apple Intelligence, the AI ??system the company launched in 2024.

Apple Intelligence includes a suite of smart capabilities, such as email rewriting, notification summarization, and photo editing, features designed to enhance the user experience across the company's devices.

Developers will be able to integrate Apple's AI technologies into their apps, whether in specific components or across the entire app, representing a significant expansion in the scope of these technologies.

Apple is expected to begin making its small models available that can run directly on user devices, rather than relying exclusively on advanced AI models running on cloud servers.
