The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, represented by the Mosques Department, has inaugurated a new mosque in Al Khor. as part of the Ministry's plan to expand and develop mosques across the country, keeping pace with urban and population growth, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
The Sultan bin Ali Al Ali Al Maadid Mosque covers an area of 5,676 square meters and accommodates 950 male worshipers and 100 female worshipers.
It also includes a spacious ablution space, a large number of parking lots, including those designated for people with disabilities, some of which are designated for people with disabilities, with well-planned entrances and exits. The mosque is topped with a tall minaret.
An Awqaf statement said the mosque is endowed by Ali bin Sultan bin Ali Al Ali Al Maadid.
The Ministry's website offers a geographic search feature for locating mosques using global navigation systems, supported by accurate and detailed maps that make it easier to find mosque locations in cities across the country.
