The Ministry of Interior's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has apprehended six individuals of African origin involved in home robberies across various residential areas. Following the issuance of authorization by the Public Prosecution, the suspects were arrested, and their residences underwent thorough searches.
During the operation, the CID discovered and seized a total of QR1,288,000 in cash and gold jewelry valued at QR300,000 in possession of the individuals. The tools utilized in the commission of these thefts were also confiscated.
Upon interrogation, the defendants admitted to the charges brought against them. Subsequently, both the arrested individuals and the seized items, including the tools used in the crimes, were handed over to the prosecution office for further investigation and legal proceedings.
