DOMASCO GAC Qatar made a powerful impression at the Qatar Racing Club on October 15, 2025, with the unveiling of the new GS8 Traveler and the high-performance EMPOW R.

The launch, marking GAC’s 10 years of presence in Qatar, was an unforgettable day filled with live drifting sessions, off-road test drives, and a deep dive into the vehicles' cutting-edge features.

The highlight of the event was the thrilling drag show with the EMPOW R, which showcased the car's raw power and speed. With 265 horsepower and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the EMPOW R dominated the track, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, leaving the crowd in awe of its performance.

 

Meanwhile, the GS8 Traveller, designed with families in mind, took center stage with its off-road test drive experience. Attendees had the opportunity to test the vehicle's off-road capabilities, as it effortlessly handled challenging terrain, proving its durability and versatility. Powered by a 248 horsepower engine and offering 12.5 km/L fuel efficiency, the GS8 Traveller combines power, comfort, and efficiency with its 7-seat capacity.
