Organized annually by the Middle East and North Africa Leisure & Attractions Council, the MENALAC Awards celebrate the highest levels of achievement in design, safety, operations, and leadership across the region’s fast-growing leisure sector.

This year’s MENALAC Awards marked a historic milestone, as the ceremony was held for the first time in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Best Design for a Leisure & Entertainment Facility award celebrates Desert Falls' visionary approach to park layout, immersive theming, and exceptional guest journey—from adrenaline-pumping rides to family-friendly zones. Meanwhile, Adam Du Plooy, General Manager of Desert Falls Water & Adventure Park, was named Best Establishment Manager for his outstanding leadership, team empowerment, and commitment to world-class operations. His recognition further underscores the park’s dedication to both exceptional guest satisfaction and operational integrity.
