Doha, Qatar: The Embassy of Japan has announced that submissions for the Qatar-Japan Illustration Contest 2025 will remain open until September 20, 2025.
Organized in collaboration with Geekdom, Nakama, and the Japanese Club at Qatar University, the contest celebrates Japanese art and culture within Qatar. Since its launch on July 1, the initiative has invited artists to create original works inspired by Japanese themes in a Qatari context, fostering cultural exchange and creativity.
The competition welcomes participants of all skill levels, offering them a platform to showcase their talent. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges and awarded prizes sponsored by Teyseer Motors – Suzuki, Fnac Qatar, Daiso Japan, and North Café.
