The FIA has revealed that Lewis Hamilton's car was taken aside for technical checks after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton's car went through a more detailed analysis immediately after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, FIA documents have revealed.

While every car that completes a race goes through post-race scrutineering, the FIA took the step of introducing a random selection check ahead of the 2021 season.

Any car that finishes in the top 10 can be pulled aside and subjected to stringent checks that are outside of the usual scrutineering areas.
