Argentine Star Lionel Messi confirmed on Thursday that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which will be held during November 20 till December 18, will be his last in his career.
The Paris Saint-Germain player said in a press statement this will definitely be his last World Cup.
"I feel good physically, I was able to do a very good pre-season this year, which I couldnt do last year. It was essential to get to where I am, with a good state of mind and a lot of hope" Messi added.
Argentina is in Group C next to: Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and Poland.
Messi participated with his country four times in the finals of the World Cup as the team bid farewell to the 2006 and 2010 quarter-finals against Germany, while lost the 2014 final against Germany as well, and left the last World Cup from the round of 16 against France.Â
