Fire Station opens applications for second Artists' Intensive Study Programme 2027

Fire Station, Qatar Museums' contemporary art hub, has opened applications for the second edition of its Artists' Intensive Study Programme (AISP) 2027, inviting emerging visual artists from Qatar and around the world to apply for the fully funded nine-month initiative. 

Scheduled to run from March to November 2027, the programme is designed to support the artistic and professional development of emerging creatives through an intensive curriculum that combines mentorship, workshops, studio practice, and critical dialogue. Participants will work alongside internationally recognised artists, curators, and cultural professionals while developing their own artistic practice. 

The programme welcomes applications from artists working across a wide range of visual art disciplines, offering an immersive environment that encourages experimentation, collaboration, and creative research. It aims to nurture a new generation of artists by providing access to professional guidance, production facilities, and an international network within the contemporary art community. 

The Artists' Intensive Study Programme forms part of Fire Station's broader mission to strengthen Qatar's cultural landscape by investing in emerging talent and fostering artistic excellence through long-term professional development opportunities.
