The Qatar Meteorology Department has forecasted a gradual increase in temperatures starting mid-March as the Sudan seasonal low intensifies over the Arabian Peninsula.
This weather shift is expected to align with the interaction between Sudan’s seasonal low and incoming cut-off lows from Europe, potentially leading to atmospheric instability across the region.
Prevailing winds throughout the month are anticipated to be predominantly northwesterly, according to the department.
Historically, Qatar recorded its highest March temperature at 39°C in 1998, while the lowest was 8.2°C in 1984. The average daily temperature for March stands at 21.9°C.
