The Amir initiated aid for 1,500 wounded and support for 3,000 Gaza orphans
HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir, has directed the treatment of 1,500 injured individuals and the sponsorship of 3,000 orphans from Gaza, Palestine.
Qatar will oversee the transfer of the injured and their companions, collaborating with Egypt, to facilitate their treatment in designated hospitals.
This initiative extends Qatar's unwavering support and continuous efforts to alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, particularly amidst the current challenging conditions.
Since the start of the Gaza conflict, Qatar has dispatched 36 planes carrying 1,203 tons of aid, comprising food, medical supplies, and shelter materials, alongside a field hospital and ambulances.
