H.H. Sheikha Moza relinquishes her UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador position
 According to Al Jazeera's report on November 15, 2023, sources revealed that H.H. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser has stepped down from her position as a goodwill ambassador at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
She has been actively supporting education in collaboration with the UN since 2003.
The report stated that sources informed Al Jazeera about Sheikha Moza's decision following her criticism of UNESCO's alleged failure in aiding and supporting the children of Gaza, who have been heavily affected by Israel's continuous bombardment campaign.
Reportedly, Sheikha Moza announced her resignation during a summit held in Istanbul on November 15, 2023.
