Facing difficulties with your employer, such as delayed salary payments?Â
Here's a guide on how to file a labour complaint against your employer in Qatar.
Qatar's Ministry of Labor has introduced an SMS service to facilitate communication with workers regarding their concerns. The hotline operates 24/7 and offers support in multiple languages.
To file a labour complaint via SMS, follow these steps:
Workers can dial the Ministry of Labor Hotline number 16008 to lodge a complaint. For concerns related to workers' accommodation conditions, call 40280660.
Another option is to send an email to the Ministry of Labor at info@mol.gov.qa.
The Ministry has launched a Unified Platform for Complaints and Whistleblowers to assist employees in filing complaints. Through this platform, users can submit, track, and review complaints, as well as update their contact information.
To file a complaint:
Workers can anonymously submit complaints through the Ministry's self-service kiosks located around Qatar. These kiosks operate in various languages, allowing workers to file complaints easily. After completing a simple form, the complaint can be printed and submitted to the Labor Affairs department for resolution.
Instead of directly approaching the Labour Court, workers can visit Ministry of Labor offices to register complaints. Offices are located in the Industrial Area and Al-Shahaniya, operating from Sunday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
To make a direct complaint:
Employees can submit complaints and suggestions through the contact form on the Ministry of Labor website.
Follow these steps:
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) protects and promotes human rights in Qatar. Individuals can file complaints via the NHRC website, email, fax, or by visiting the NHRC office directly.

By utilizing these channels, individuals can address issues with their employers effectively and seek appropriate resolutions through official channels.
