Qatar 2022
Doha, the capital of sports, continues to impress the world as usual, by completing all preparations to the fullest well before the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, in an achievement rarely seen since the inception of the largest world championship in football, where Arabs have proven their abilities to succeed and shine globally.
The pace of preparations in Qatar was not born of the moment, but began a long time ago, through tight coordination between all parties in full swing; in order to provide an exceptional experience that allows football fans from different countries of the world to enjoy a football experience on the land of Qatar, which pledged to provide an unprecedented version of the World Cup, after increasing the challenge by organizing the first carbon-neutral FIFA World Cup tournament that takes into account the principle of sustainability, and in parallel with what was achieved previously by organizing global events that dazzled everyone, Qatar seeks to highlight its cultural face and aesthetic legacy during the World Cup.
With the celebrations taking place in Qatar, on the occasion of the 100 days to go until Qatar hosts the FIFA World Cup, Qatar has intensified its distinctive efforts to make the world event, which will be held from November 20 to December 18 this year, a success.
Qatar news agency (QNA) has monitored the intensive aesthetic preparations that precede the launch of the global celebration, where Qatar will open its doors to receive more than a million fans during the hosting of the finals, reflecting its keenness to give its visitors an exceptional experience that reflects Qatari culture in particular, and Arab in general, and introduce the traditions of the authentic country, which is characterized by hospitality and generosity.
The streets of Doha and its buildings are decorated to look in the most beautiful suit with bright colors that catch the eye, slogans and welcome signs topped the scene on the facades of towers in the Dafna area, and all regions of the country.
The development of the logos comes in line with the Zeina initiative, which is one of the exceptional initiatives launched by the Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places in the State, in cooperation with the Supreme Committee for Legacy and Delivery (SC) and a number of ministries.
The Zeina initiative calls for beautifying buildings, fences and outdoor areas, implementing works of art, drawings and beautiful lighting to highlight Qatar's cultural face, and making the World Cup a special event, and there will also be a competition in which the winners will receive valuable financial prizes.
The reception of initial entries and ideas began from the first of last July, and will continue until the end of this month, followed by the reception of final photos after implementation in the period from the first of September to the end of October, so the winners will be announced in January during the closing ceremony, so the aim of the initiative is to prove Qatar's ability to organize an exceptional World Cup that will be firmly established in everyone's minds.
The Qatar News Agency building is one of the buildings marked with the slogan "EXPLORE" in Arabic and English, stretching along the building, and it can be seen from all sides. The media is an essential partner in the success of major demonstrations and the choice of this slogan did not come out of thin air.
The building of the Qatar Olympic Committee was decorated in the colors of "ALADAAM", where the committee demanded to cheer with one voice and strongly support the Qatari national team at the World Cup. Through the poster, which carried the image of the veteran captain Hassan Al-Haidous, a message was sent to the Qatari fans in order to support and encourage them to achieve outstanding results in the upcoming championship.
As for the Al Bidda tower parking building, it was decorated with the flags of the 32 participating countries, where there are flags of the national teams of Qatar, Senegal, Ecuador, the Netherlands, England, Iran, the USA, Wales, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Poland, France, Australia, Denmark, Tunisia, Spain, Costa Rica, Germany, Japan, Belgium, Canada, Morocco, Croatia, Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, Cameroon, Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea.
As for the mascot of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, "La'eeb" registered its presence in all areas and streets of Doha, where it symbolizes a cheerful character who came from a virtual world whose gender cannot be known, and used to follow the World Cup tournaments throughout history, interact with its highlights, and have a spirit of adventure, exploration and assistance.
The hilarious cartoon character "La'eeb" will be everywhere to welcome football fans from around the world. La'eeB who carries the qualities of courage and inspiration, can break the barriers of time and space to move from one place to another around the world, and into a virtual world that collects all the mascots of the previous World Cup.
These preparations were not born of a moment or chance, but are the result of great efforts thanks to the solidarity of all parties in the country, and perhaps the most prominent example of the lottery ceremony hosted by Qatar in the past few months in the presence of the most prominent international figures in the field of football, and they all praised what they saw, whether during the ceremony, which reached a high degree of excellence, or the equipment and stadiums they saw in their previous visits, and were briefed on its development in their next visits.
"Dawhat AlKhair" has succeeded early in sending messages of reassurance to all visitors of the region of its ability to receive and host all arrivals, whether in hotels or homes, in fan villages equipped with all amenities, or even through ships that will dock at seaports in a unique experience.
The focus on the smallest details was Qatar's style in order to impress the world, as it did in previous world events that it excelled in organizing, such as: the 2019 World Athletics Championships with the participation of more than 2000 athletes from different countries of the world, the organization of the Gulf Cup (Khaliji 24), the organization of the World Handball Championship in 2015, in addition to the Athletics Diamond League, the World Boxing Championship, the Qatar International Swimming Championship, the World Athletics Championships for the disabled, and other tournaments, in which Doha achieved successes that won international acclaim.
