The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps of Iran has announced the launch of numerous drones and missiles towards Israel on Saturday night, potentially sparking a significant escalation between the two regional adversaries. The United States has pledged support for Israel in response.
According to Israel's military, over 100 drones believed to have originated from Iran, as reported by Iraqi security sources, are en route to their targets. Israeli Channel 12 has reported that some of these drones have been intercepted over Syria or Jordan.
