The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) has offered a rich program and a range of recreational activities to mark the blessed Eid Al Fitr since the first day of Eid amid large crowds of masses.
The police music band will continue presenting its shows on Monday, where the first show will begin at 6:15 pm at Katara Corniche, and the second show will start at 7:50 pm.
The events that drew the attention of the audience include the sessions of Eid Al Fitr, which attracted Oud lovers hosted by the Katara Oud Center in Building No. 6, at 8 pm for two consecutive days.
As for today's session, the musicians Abdulaziz Saleh, Muhammad Al Khuzai, Saeed Buqasha, Saeed Sadiq, Omar Al Yafei and Riyad Bualam participated in the sessions, which were admired by the attendees.
Katara has been keen to dedicate a space to arts through stage plays for children titled "The World of 2030" in the open air with a huge turnout from children and families.
The theatrical director Hanan Sadek said that the various shows that were presented over the past three days were entirely amazing and successful as the stage plays witnessed big crowds of children who reacted to various shows, which confirm the success of the show in communicating its message.
The show is an imaginary journey through time and takes a group of children to the past, where they learn a lesson about the importance of science and work in self-development and society, Hanan Sadek said, pointing out that the play also instills in the hearts of young people the importance of perseverance and insistence on dreaming, and with diligence everything becomes possible.
