Katara Summer Camp 2023
The activities of the second week of Katara Summer Camp 2023 kicked off Sunday in the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) amid a large turnout and interaction among children.
Bringing together 50 participants, the summer camp offers training courses, workshops and awareness lectures. It also provides children with a variety of sports activities and introductory tours of the Thuraya Planetarium, the Al Gannas Association, and the Katara Traditional Dhow Museum.
The participating parties in the camp are the General Administration of Civil Defense, Al Jazeera Media Institute, the Qatar Red Crescent Society, the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, Nomas Center, and Qatar's Shooting Club.
The event is free and open to children from 10 am to 7 pm on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays till Aug. 15.
