Kuwait has introduced a new type of visa, according to local media reports.
Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister and Acting Defence Minister issued a decree to introduce the latest visa, said a report in Al Rai.
The new visa is designed to give entry permission to the country for sports, culture and social activities.

The visa will be granted by the General Directorate for Residency Affairs.
People wanting to be issued the visa will need to apply through a sport club, social organisation, cultural association or other associations on an approved group, in line with authority guidelines.
The new sporting and cultural visas will be valid for three months and can be renewed for up to one year from the original issuance.
The decision was introduced as a new clause to Article 4 of Ministerial Resolution No. 957/2019.
It is expected to boost sporting and tourism economies in Kuwait.
