The third phase will continue, says MoPH
The Ministry of Public Health announced today the continuation during the month of August of Phase 3 of the Gradual Lifting of COVID-19 restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The Ministry continues to monitor key performance indicators to ensure a balance between the continuity of providing protection to the population on the one hand and restoring social and economic life to normal, on the other hand,” MoPH said in a statement.
The lifting of Covid-19 restrictions was scheduled to be implemented in four phases. The first phase began on 28 May, 2021, the second phase on 18 June, the third phase on 9 July, and the fourth phase was originally scheduled to begin tomorrow, 30 July, which has now been postponed.
In a statement, the MoPH said the ministry continues to monitor key performance indicators to ensure a balance between the continuity of providing protection to the population on the one hand and restoring social and economic life to normal, on the other hand.
The ministry called on all people who are eligible to receive the Covid-19 vaccination as soon as possible so that they can protect themselves, members of their families and members of the society from the dangers of this disease and contribute to a speedy return to the normal life.
