MOJ Migrates its Official Website into Microsoft Cloud
The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) has finalized the procedures for migration of its official website into the Microsoft Cloud. This comes as part of its plan for digital transformation and in collaboration and coordination with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), which launched last week the first large-scale cloud data center region in the State of Qatar, in partnership with Microsoft Corporation. This aims to join the largest cloud infrastructure in the world, which enhances the competitiveness of the State of Qatar regionally and globally, and in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 (QNV2030) that consolidates the leading position of the country in the process of digital transformation.
Ms. Hessa Al Sulaiti, Director of the Information Systems Department at MOJ, said that the step of migrating the Ministry's official website into the Microsoft Cloud is in the implementation of directives of HE Mr. Masoud bin Mohammed Al Amri, Minister of Justice, to accelerate the Ministry's procedures on digital transformation, in line with the requirements of the strategy of Qatar Digital Government and QNV2030. This aims to maximize the revenue of knowledge, promote legal culture for the benefit of the State and development of the community, and benefit from the digital infrastructure provided by the State to upgrade legal services, as she said.
