Qatar is set to captivate a global audience as the host nation for the AFC Asian Cup 2023 tournament. Msheireb Downtown Doha has been chosen as the central hub for media operations, providing an ideal location to immerse in the tournament's spirit.

Msheireb Properties' flagship regeneration downtown will host the Media Centre for the entire tournament in sustainably designed buildings, blending modernity with Qatari cultural heritage. 

The state-of-the-art infrastructure and strategic downtown location serve as a base for international journalists and broadcasters to connect with a global audience, bringing extensive coverage of Asian football's top national teams to billions worldwide.

In addition to supporting crucial media operations, Msheireb Downtown Doha aims to offer an engaging experience for fans. With activations set in a vibrant, smart, and sustainable city, and within walking distance from the picturesque Souq Waqif, the venue seeks to be a hub where football enthusiasts not only watch matches but also celebrate Asian and Middle Eastern heritage through cultural experiences reflecting football's spirit of unity.

Sikkat Wadi Msheireb will transform into the Asian Sikka, providing visitors exposure to the diverse cultures of the 24 participating nations. The Asian Sikka will offer authentic cuisine, traditional craft-making, cultural exhibits, and performances by talented artists, allowing fans to walk through Asia and experience its rich cultures firsthand.

A custom-built Human Foosball Arena in Sahat Wadi Msheireb will host friendly matches between fans, creating conditions similar to a typical foosball table, with live entertainment providing play-by-play commentary and music.

Barahat Msheireb will broadcast live evening matches, inviting fans to come together for each goal and thrilling save. The public can purchase entry tickets, and football skill stations featuring Football Bowling, Football Golf Target, and Subsoccer games will be available for nominal fees.
