The General Directorate of Traffic has issued a public notice for vehicle owners whose cars have been impounded for more than three months.The Vehicle Impound Section in the Industrial Area (Street 52) is where affected individuals must report in order to finish the appropriate processes.
Vehicle owners are required to settle all outstanding traffic violations, pay the applicable storage and yard fees, and complete the process of collecting their impounded vehicles within a 30-day period, beginning on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. This directive is part of the authority's efforts to manage long-term impounded vehicles and ensure compliance with traffic regulations.
The General Directorate of Traffic has strongly warned that failure to comply with this notice within the specified timeframe will result in the vehicles being officially listed for public auction. This action will be carried out in accordance with the applicable legal procedures and regulations governing abandoned or unclaimed vehicles.
