Ministry of Endowments Urges Crescent Sighting for Shawwal

The Crescent Sighting Committee within the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs urges all Muslims residing in Qatar to observe the crescent of Shawwal on the evening of Monday, the 29th of Ramadan, 1445 AH, corresponding to April 08, 2023.

Those who spot the crescent are requested to proceed to the committee's headquarters at the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs in Al Dafna (Towers) area to provide their testimony.

Following the Maghrib prayer on the same day, the committee will convene promptly.
