The Ministry of Public Health has announced the temporary closure of a health center operating within the private healthcare sector.
This action follows an inspection visit carried out by the Ministry’s Department of Healthcare Professions, which revealed that the center failed to meet the minimum required number of healthcare practitioners necessary for its operation. Such a practice violates the regulations and standards approved in the State.
The Ministry of Public Health emphasizes the necessity for all healthcare facilities in the country to comply with the laws and regulations governing the healthcare sector.
The Ministry also stresses the importance of fulfilling all statutory requirements when carrying out any health-related activities to safeguard patient safety and ensure the quality of healthcare services provided.
