On July 9, 2025, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued a warning to all investors in Qatar — including individuals, companies, citizens, and residents — advising them to avoid making investments, signing agreements, or transferring funds to any entities claiming to offer investment opportunities without confirming the authenticity of their legal licenses and commercial registrations.
The Ministry clarified that entities operating without official authorization are not permitted to collect funds or provide investment services to the public, and doing so subjects them to legal action.
It further cautioned that engaging with such unlicensed entities could lead to serious financial and legal consequences for investors. The Ministry urged everyone to thoroughly verify the legal status of any company or individual offering investment opportunities, stressing that due diligence is essential to protecting investor rights and ensuring safe and lawful investments.
