MIA January 2022 Events Cancelled
The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) has suspended all activities for the month of January 2022.
The museum has posted on Instagram:
"Please note that all January activities and workshops will be cancelled. Stay tuned for new classes, storytelling and inspiration. Don’t forget to check out our Learning Resources web page for more activities, tours and links mia.org.qa."
Prior to the pandemic, there were regular events in MIA like its frequent major events held in the Park including the Park Bazaar and regular concerts.Â
However, due to restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the MIA Bazaar is not currently taking place.Â
To ensure your safety and the safety of the visitors, the museum is coordinating with the relevant authorities to bring back the Bazaar with necessary precautions once it is deemed safe to do so.Â
