The Saudi Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission (NRRC) has confirmed that no abnormal radioactive activity has been detected in the Kingdom or any of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states following recent U.S. military strikes on nuclear facilities in Iran.
In a statement posted on X, the NRRC assured the public that environmental monitoring systems remain fully operational and that radiation levels across the region continue to fall within normal limits.
The announcement comes in the wake of a statement by U.S. President Donald Trump, who declared that the U.S. had executed a "very successful attack" targeting three key Iranian nuclear facilities—Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan.
Authorities across the region are maintaining heightened alert levels as a precaution, while reiterating their commitment to transparent communication and regional safety.
