Qatar Classic Squash Championship 2021
Peruvian player Diego Elias has become the first to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Qatar Classic Squash Championship, which is currently being held at the Khalifa International Complex.
In a marathon match that lasted for 73 minutes, the sixth seed Elias achieved a difficult victory over his French rival Gregory Marchet, by three sets to two in the first match of the third round of the tournament.
This is the second time that Diego Elias has had to play 5 games after the first match in the second round.
Elias expressed his happiness with this victory, and said that" In the past, I was worried because I had not yet reached the top of my physical levels, but I think I became stronger and more prepared to play matches that extend to five games".
