The Ministry of Labour has launched the second phase of job nationalisation programme in the private sector.
âUnder the programme, 456 new jobs have been offered to citizens and children of Qatari women in major companies through the National Employment Platform âKawaderâ system,â the Ministry of Labour tweeted yesterday.
Since the beginning of this year, 900 jobs have been provided to job-seeking citizens.
As many as 456 new jobs of different specialisations are available at Kawader system. They include 271 in communication and information technology sectors, 88 jobs in services and transport, 55 in finance and insurance sectors, 28 opportunities in energy and industry sectors and 12 in private institutions and two in real estate sector.Â
Citizens and children of Qatari women can enquire about jobs available in the private sector through direct communication channels of the Ministry of Labour on the numbers 40288751/ 40288747/ 40288757/ 40288750.
Any complaints related to the job nationalisation programme in private sector can be registered through the aforementioned telephone numbers.
As many as 114 citizens have got appointments in February 2022. A majority 53 citizens appointed in finance and insurance sector, 28 in energy and industry, 12 people in services and transport sector, 11 in communication, information and technology, Â 6 in private institutions and only one in hospitality sector.Â
The Civil Service and Government Employment Bureau recently upgraded the National Employment Platform âKawaderâ system, enabling Qatari job seekers to apply for five jobs at a time instead of one job.
The upgraded job portal is also serving employers in a better way, offering suitable jobs, and giving job seekers more options to avail the job opportunities according to their qualifications and interests.
A new system to match jobs with qualification of the candidates has been added, which is more effective compared to the previous system.Â
The matchmaking process is being done accurately through algorithms merging specialisations of the job-seekers and available job opportunities.
The service enables entities to match the available openings with applicantsâ qualifications and interview them under the supervision of Civil Service and Government Employment Bureau.
The Bureau stepped up efforts recently to bring about quick solutions for job seekers, such as provision of suitable training courses and an initiative to provide jobs in the semi-governmental organisations.
