Prime Minister visits HIA and Doha International Airport

Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani paid an inspection tour to Hamad International Airport (HIA) and Doha International Airport to further inspect the expansion and upgradation operations in the two airports and their readiness to receive the audience of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

His Excellency initiated the tour by visiting HIA where he inspected the new airport terminals, their utilities and equipment based on the state-of-the-art systems to facilitate the procedures of receiving the audience of the World Cup tournament, guests of the country and its visitors.

His Excellency also listened to an explanation of the working mechanism in the terminals and their storage capacity, in addition to the modern systems and services utilized there.

After that, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior made an inspection tour of Doha International Airport. He inspected the airport's preparations and actions to facilitate the arrival of the audience participating in the World Cup tournament.

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior was accompanied by a number of Their Excellencies senior officials.
