QIB Wins “Best Retail Bank Qatar” Award at the Retail Banker Trailblazer Awards 2021

Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has received the “Best Retail Bank in Qatar” award at the 12th Annual Retail Banker Trailblazer Awards 2021 in collaboration with MEED and GlobalData. 

QIB was also recognized for three “Highly Commendable Achievements” namely: “Excellence in Mobile Banking”, “Excellence in Financing’ and “Best Loyalty/Rewards Programme in the Middle East”.

The Retail Banker International Asia Trailblazer Awards recognize the best-in-class banking institutions for their innovative service offering and commitment to customer excellence. QIB’s recognition of its achievements in the retail banking sector is a testament to its outstanding performance and innovative products & services offering to its customers.

Organized by the Retail Banker International in collaboration with Arena International, UK, Middle East Economic Digest (MEED) and GlobalData, the Trailblazer awards programme is a platform for Retail banks to benchmark against global peers in areas such as customer satisfaction, innovation in product/service development and connected digital systems.

Commenting on this recognition, Mr. D. QIB is the first bank in the region to introduce an end-to-end digital Instant Finance product, allowing pre-approved customers to get personal financing through QIB’s Mobile App within a few minutes.

The 2021 edition of the awards received over 300 entries from 25 countries across the Asian continent representing the best-in-class consumer finance and retail banking companies.
