QMC Chairperson Participates in Inauguration Ceremony

Arab Capital of Culture and Media for 2025

HE Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) Chairperson Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al-Thani participated in the inauguration ceremony of 'Kuwait, the Arab Capital of Culture and Media for 2025'.

His Excellency's participation in the ceremony at Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center came at the invitation of HE Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs in the State of Kuwait Abdulrahman Badah Al Mutairi.

HE Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al-Thani expressed his pride in participating in the event, noting that such meetings represent an opportunity to enhance bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the State of Kuwait, especially in the media field, through exchanging ideas and views with HE Al Mutairi.

HE the QMC Chairperson added that the State of Kuwait's organization of this occasion, through various cultural and media events and programs throughout the year, reflects its pioneering position and long-standing experience in the fields of Arab culture and media, and contributes to strengthening bridges of cooperation and partnerships between various cultural and media sectors at the regional and Arab levels.
