Qatar Airways New Onboard Theme Song "The Ascent"

Doha, Qatar: Dana Al Fardan, the Official Composer of Qatar Airways Group, introduces the new onboard theme song "The Ascent," symbolizing fresh beginnings and exciting journeys for Qatar Airways post-World Cup. This captivating composition is now accessible through Oryx One Inflight Entertainment on Qatar Airways flights.

Performed by members of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, this music enhances the in-flight experience, creating a relaxing ambiance for travelers. Dana Al Fardan previously collaborated with Qatar Airways in 2016 to create onboard theme music, which has since become synonymous with the airline's brand, representing luxury travel.

"The Ascent" completes the trilogy of Dana Al Fardan's previous onboard theme songs, "The Awakening" and "The Dawn." It combines classical elements with Arabic charm, incorporating instruments like the piano, violin, viola, cello, Ney (Arabic wind instrument), and Rababa (Arabic bowed string instrument) to craft captivating musical compositions.

Dana Al Fardan, the Official Composer of Qatar Airways Group, shared, "On September 10, 2023, we will release an EP titled 'Trilogy of the Ascent,' featuring my compositions for Qatar Airways on major streaming platforms. The trilogy includes 'The Awakening,' 'The Dawn,' and 'The Ascent,' which is Qatar Airways' upcoming boarding music."
