Chinese Delegation
The Qatar Chamber (QC) discussed enhancing economic and trade cooperation with a delegation from the People's Republic of China.
The meeting was held between QC Acting General Manager Ali Saeed Bu Sharbak Al Mansori and Finance Director of China Foreign Trade Centre Ma Fengmin, along with his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the Chinese delegation provided an overview of the 137th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), scheduled to take place from April 15 to May 5 in Guangzhou, and invited Qatari companies to participate in the event.
Ali Saeed Bu Sharbak Al Mansori praised the strong Qatar-China relations, highlighting that China is one of Qatar's most important trade partners, with noticeable developments in various fields, particularly in economic and trade sectors.
He added that the Canton Fair is one of the world's most significant exhibitions, emphasizing the QC's and Qatari businesses' keen interest in the Fair, which serves as a global platform for exchanging expertise and developing partnerships.
Al Mansouri also stressed Qatar Chamber's commitment to strengthening ties between the business communities of Qatar and China, supporting bilateral partnerships that benefit both parties.
He encouraged Chinese companies to increase their investments in Qatar, citing the country's attractive investment environment, modern infrastructure, advanced free zones, and flexible investment procedures that encourage foreign businesses to establish and expand their presence in the Qatari market.
