QC Completes 1,800 Projects in Pakistan
Qatar Charity (QC) announced that it had carried out 1,805 projects throughout Pakistan in 2024 with the help of the good people of Qatar and through its office there.
In a statement released today, QC indicated that 992,303 people benefited from these projects in the areas of water and sanitation, relief, education, health, development, and economic empowerment. The statement also outlined the specifics of these projects, such as their seasonality, the caliber of the assistance they provided, and the provinces in Pakistan that benefited.
Qatar Charity stated that, in addition to the projects carried out through its office in Pakistan, it worked with the World Food Program (WFP) and the United Nations Children's Fund "UNICEF" to implement five projects improving access for 633,500 people in the provinces of Punjab; Sindh; and Balochistan to life-saving services.
These initiatives included boosting disaster readiness, children nutrition, and providing better water and sanitation services for Afghan refugees.
