Hamad International Airport (HIA) Customs officials thwarted an attempt to illegally bring Gabapentin pills into Qatar. Acting on suspicions, they examined a parcel containing different medicines and discovered 177 concealed pills.
Proper protocols were followed, resulting in the issuance of a seizure report. Additionally, on October 19, a traveller entering the country was found with over 4,000 Lyrica pills, which were also confiscated by the diligent HIA Customs team.
