The Embassy of the State of Qatar to Egypt, in partnership with Qatar Charity, organized a heartwarming iftar event at the Children's Cancer Hospital "57357" as part of the "Iftar for a Fasting Person" initiative. The event, held on Sunday evening, aimed to bring joy and support to children undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The event was attended by Qatar’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, HE Tariq Ali Faraj Al Ansari, alongside embassy staff and hospital officials. The gathering included children receiving care at the hospital, their families, diplomats, media professionals, and notable public figures.
The evening featured a tour of the hospital's facilities, where attendees had the opportunity to meet the children and their families, take memorable photos, and distribute gifts, creating a festive and uplifting atmosphere.
In his remarks, HE Tariq Ali Faraj Al Ansari expressed gratitude to Qatar Charity for its ongoing efforts in humanitarian aid and commended their continuous partnership in addressing critical needs. He also praised the management and staff of the Children's Cancer Hospital "57357" for their exceptional work in providing both medical and emotional support to the young patients.
His Excellency emphasized that this initiative reflects Qatar’s longstanding commitment to supporting all members of society, particularly children, and spreading hope among them. He highlighted the hospital’s vital role in enhancing recovery rates and described it as a leading institution in pediatric healthcare.
