The Ministry of Transport has issued a directive to suspend all forms of maritime navigation and vessel leasing between Hamad International Airport and The Pearl Qatar. The suspension takes effect from 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13 and will remain in place until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
The decision applies to all maritime vessel owners, including both individuals and companies. Activities affected include leisure boating, tourism, fishing, and the leasing of vessels such as scooters, jetboats, and similar watercraft.
The ministry emphasized that the suspension is part of a regulatory measure aimed at ensuring safety and maintaining orderly maritime operations in the specified area during this time frame.
Authorities have urged full compliance from the public and maritime service providers, stressing that any violations will be subject to legal action.
The Ministry has not yet disclosed the reason for the temporary suspension, but updates are expected as the situation develops.
