Qatar Cooler Weather
Qatar's Meteorology Department has warned of reduced visibility across parts of the country's coastline on Friday, with patches of light fog expected during the early hours.
Forecasters said coastal areas could see visibility drop to two kilometres or less in some locations at the start of the day, before improving later on. Conditions are expected to remain relatively cool to mild during daylight hours, turning cold overnight.
Clouds are forecast to appear at times offshore, while seas are expected to remain moderate.
Winds along the coast will be light to moderate, shifting from westerly and north-westerly to north-easterly and south-easterly later in the day. Offshore winds will range from north-westerly to south-westerly.
Visibility along the coast is forecast to range between four and nine kilometres, improving as the fog lifts, while offshore visibility is expected to be between five and 10 kilometres.
Wave heights are predicted to reach one to three feet near the coast and two to four feet at sea.
The maximum temperature in Doha is expected to reach 22آ°C.
Tide times vary across the country, with high tide in Doha forecast for 8:25am and low tide at 4:27pm. Similar tidal patterns are expected in Al Wakrah, Mesaieed, Al Khor and Al Ruwais, while Abu Samra is forecast to see high tide at 2:00pm.
Sunset in Qatar is expected at 5:01pm local time.
